Pygmalion
a curving, mouth watering shape,
like Pygmalion’s marble works.
keeps you begging for a taste,
a craving devil in their mind lurks.
sunsets have kissed her skin,
sand has textured its tone,
eyes full of yearning
for adventure deep within,
for places other than home.
you stare at her,
you catch your breath,
it’s her eyes that tell you it all.
she will not be deterred,
you are who she has chose,
to be the cause of her rise and fall.
eyes match the ocean tides,
Aphrodite and the heavens;
“the goddess of whom is all mine.”
no rules will she abide
as she reaches for your waist,
“my soulmate ‘til the end of time.”
